Steal $400k From Charity... Get Four Years in the Clink

Looks like you get a year in prison for each $100k you embezzel. Ms. Fitzgerald slipped out with $400k from the Casa Youth Shelter in Los Alamitos (about 5 miles from our office).

She remodeled her house, went on vacations, cooked the books, charged personal expenses, opened lines of credit she raided and then forgot to pay her taxes!

Remember ... the non-profit area has more fraud than the for profit!

$8 Million Stolen From Church

As we've warned, Non-Profit fraud is huge! In this case $8 million dollars of hugeness.

The Church? For gambling? No one noticed the padre at the casino?

VP of Finance Steals $31 million - WOW

Over a 6 year period of time, it is alleged, that the VP of Finance of Koss Corporation (the headphone maker) stole $31 million. In some years, this was MORE THAN THE NET PROFIT of the company.
